KIDS FOR CAMERON

Cameron Seker is a happy, loving, go-lucky 4th grade boy who loves soccer, playing games and telling bad jokes! He has always been a fantastic student and some feel that he's already prepared to join a college fraternity because he can recite infamous lines from Star Wars, Pink Panther and, of course, Spongebob Squarepants! Unfortunately, last year Cameron was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of Cancer.

"Kids for Cameron" was born when his best friend's 6th grade sister Vina Prajapati, took it upon herself to meet with Fort Lee's Mayor Sokolich to seek out support from the local community. The Mayor and the rest of the town, from coaches to parents, teachers and businesses have been incredibly responsive. Amazingly, "Kids for Cameron" has exploded beyond anyone's expectations and grown into a larger-than-life ideal representing goodness in all of us for the betterment of children with cancer. Now, Cameron and other children's future look brighter!

Congratulations to Seton Hall Prep which was presented the Star-Ledger Trophy as the No. 1 boys soccer team by Chris Orlando at the Prudential Arena on Saturday, January 5.
